Cyber Camp
A fun way to learn if a career in cybersecurity is in your future!
This day camp is an exciting way to introduce high school students entering 9th through 12th grade to the world of cybersecurity, all while giving them a chance to experience what college life is all about.
Experience cybersecurity by exploring:
- Careers in cybersecurity
- Cryptography
- Digital Forensics
- Ethical Hacking
- Safe on-line behavior
- Internet of things (IoT)
- Social engineering
- Threat intelligence
- Steganography
- Using AI to defend the digital domain
Learn through:
- Instruction from Messiah University cybersecurity faculty and local industry experts
- Experiential learning - "hands-on" cyber labs, simulations and real-world case studies
- Interactive gaming - capture the flag (CTF) gaming scenarios and other engaging micro challenges
- Visit to Messiah's Security Operations Center
Students will dine on campus within walking distance from class in Frey Hall. Students are chaperoned by trained teaching assistants.
