Cyber Camp - This day camp is an exciting way to introduce high school students entering 9th through 12th grade to the world of cybersecurity, all while giving them a chance to experience what college life is all about. Students take part in hands-on cyber labs, simulations, and interactive gaming scenarios, providing experiential learning throughout the week. Experience cybersecurity by exploring:

  • Cryptography
  • Online behavior and privacy
  • Ethical hacking
  • Social engineering
  • Threat intelligence
  • Careers in cybersecurity
  • Using AI to defend the digital domain
  • Digital forensics
  • Internet of things (IoT)

Cyber Pi Builders Camp - This day camp dives deeper into the use of the Raspberry Pi hardware.  Students will receive a Raspberry Pi kit to work on and use for the week.  Participation in the Cyber Camp is not required for participation in the Cyber Pi Builders Camp.

Classes are taught by Messiah University cybersecurity faculty and local industry experts, as well as Messiah cyber students. Real-world case studies are presented, so the students apply what they learn as each day progresses. We round out the week with a visit to Messiah's Security Operations Center, which is always a highlight for students.

Students will dine on campus within walking distance from class in Frey Hall. Students are chaperoned by trained teaching assistants.

Scholarships are available. Please contact cybercamp@messiah.edu for more information.
