At Messiah, we want to equip students to “learn by doing.”  The Agapé Center for Local & Global Engagement is the place students come on campus to seek experiences off campus.  Our Center helps students to engage in diverse learning experiences through service and travel.  Students can choose to stay local or go abroad. Whatever experience you say “yes” to at Messiah, we have no doubt it will be life-changing.

2023-2024 Academic Year by the Numbers

Service Day - Over 1,000 students and staff participated in a service event either on-campus or off-campus

Local Outreach - Approximately 173 student volunteers served at 10 different locations in the greater Harrisburg area

Service Trips - 93 students participated in service trips

Off-Campus Programs - Over 170 students studied off campus this year (semester abroad/away and cross-cultural trips)
