PDE Certification - Autism Spectrum Disorders Endorsement (PK-12)
The coursework for the autism spectrum disorders endorsement is designed to prepare teachers in all content areas to effectively teach the rising number of students with unique needs in any PK-12 school. This program will provide you with an increased understanding of the underlying, everyday challenges faced by students with autism spectrum disorders; research-based instructional and assessment strategies; information about effective behavioral supports; strategies for supporting and enhancing social competencies; and resources and strategies for supportive interaction with families.
