Engineers’ Weekend provides opportunity for participants:
- to meet other students interested in engineering;
- to get to know a few of Messiah’s engineering students, faculty, and alumni;
- to hear how faith can inform how Christians think about engineering; and
- to have some fun designing a project in the engineering labs.
Activities include:
- Be part of a team and compete in a design challenge.
- See a sample of engineering student-run projects and talk to students about their experience at Messiah.
- Learn how students are applying appropriate engineering to design systems that address real world needs.
Overnight Stay:
- Attendees will stay overnight in a Messiah University dormitory room or apartment.
- Participants will need to bring overnight belongings and a sleeping bag.
Reception: Parents and other family members are invited to attend a reception and visit our labs at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in Frey Hall 70.
Maximum Enrollment: 24 high school juniors & seniors
Registration Fee: $30 - which will be paid online after registration is submitted.
