Into the City Mini: Longwood Gardens

Don’t miss this opportunity for a behind the scenes look at Longwood Gardens!

We will start in the Idea Garden, where alum Alexandra Correia ’15 will discuss her career in ornamental horticulture and her career path since Messiah. We will then head to the meadow garden to learn about land stewardship. We will finish up the career portion of the event with a chat with about student programs at Longwood, including internships and post-grad positions. Students will then have time to explore the gardens on their own. Students should bring a packed lunch to eat in the van on the way to Longwood, and money for a fast food stop on the way home. Please note: per university regulations, all students are required to be vaccinated against Covid-19 in order to participate.
