Marking dead trees in the Food Forest so that they can be removed.
As some of you may know, last year over 500 trees were planted around our campus in an effort to reforest Messiah. For the most part, these trees are thriving and growing as we had hoped. Although some of them have not prospered and died so they need to be removed. We are looking for 20-30 volunteers to join us on Monday, September 27th at 3 o'clock by the fruit forest next to Treona, behind the baseball field, to help us mark these dead trees to prepare for a tree replanting in November. This is a great educational opportunity to identify dead or dying trees!
