- Date: October 28th, 2021
- Location: Boyer 230
- Time: 4:30pm - 5:30pm

Former Messiah University student Daniel Beers ('17) will speak as a guest lecturer
Daniel will critically investigate the underlying philosophy of the abolitionist movement and thus will argue, in effect, that abolitionism was a truly revolutionary philosophical position informing social, economic, and political action. He will place specific attention on the ethics of the abolitionists within their historical context. In the process, Daniel will attempt to show the general dialectical logic at work in the Black freedom struggle for justice in the United States of America.
