HRA Movie Night: Watchers of the Sky

Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning “A Problem from Hell,” this is a look at how the Armenian Genocide led one man to help silent victims worldwide. Directed by Edet Belzberg. This event will be in the Hostetter Basement.

Join the Human Rights Awareness Coalition for an educational viewing of "Watchers of the Sky"! This documentary follows four present-day stories of exceptional perseverance while setting out to uncover the forgotten life of Raphael Lemkin, the man who coined the term "genocide". Inspired by Samantha Power's Pulitzer Prize-winning book, "A Problem From Hell," "Watchers of the Sky" spans across time and continents to explore genocide and the cycle of violence. We will follow up this viewing with a time of debriefing and discussion based on the documentary. Snacks will be provided!!
