Milton Hershey School & Catherine Hershey School are changing the world by breaking the cycle of poverty.
Milton Hershey School provides a top-notch education and a stable home life for more than 2,000 qualifying students from low-income families annually, spanning from elementary to high school.
Catherine Hershey Schools for Earling Learning is a subsidiary of Milton Hershey School. CHS provides a cost-free educational, social, and cognitive day program to children of lower income from birth to age 5. They follow the Whole Child Approach by focusing on every aspect of students' lives to help them achieve academically, build self-esteem, grow socially and emotionally, learn responsibility, and take charge of their physical health & fitness.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students majoring in Education, Psychology, Social Work, and HDFS.
Spend an afternoon visiting each site, learn about the amazing work they do, and discover careers that change lives.
We will leave campus at 11:30 and expect to return by 5:15 PM. Please meet us in the lobby of the Eisenhower Campus Center building by 11:15. Business Casual dress is expected.
The visit will include lunch, a walking tour of campus, info sessions, and time for Q&A.
The site visit is set to take place from 12:00 - 4:30 pm.
