Christian and Citizen Series: Living Our Faith In Public Life
Christian & Citizen is a four-part Tuesday Evening Honors Congress and Chapel Series exploring this question:
What Does It Mean To Be A Christian And A Citizen?
All events begin at 7:00 p.m. The first is in Parmer Hall and the remaining ones are in Hostetter Chapel.
Guest Speakers
New York Times columnist and author Ross Douthat will be speaking on September 27th.
Associate professor of political science at Gordon College Ruth Melkonian Hoover will be speaking on October 4th.
Dr. Vincent Bacote, Associate Professor of Theology and Director of Center for Applied Christian Ethics, will be speaking on October 18th. His message is titled Remember Who You Are: Christian Identity and Public Life.
