Ravine Restoration

DEP has issued a permit for Messiah College to renovate and restore the ravine behind Frey Hall.  This ravine carries rainwater from the Kline/Jordan parking lot as well as the roofs from all the surrounding buildings.  This work consists of running a pipe from an existing drainage pipe (located behind Frey Hall) to an existing pipe at Creekside Drive.  This pipe runs under Creekside Drive to the Yellow Breeches.

The ravine drainage project is moving along. Catch basins have been set and most of the piping has been installed. The contractor is now backfilling.
