APPLY TO MESSIAH

Web Projects

Messiah University follows a decentralized governance model for its website content. This means each office/department is totally responsible for the content on its website with support from the web services team.

To ensure a consistent and quality visitor experience we use a content management system (CMS) to standardize all pages on messiah.edu. The CMS ensures best practices are followed with the design, layout, and structure of sites and pages on messiah.edu.

All offices and programs with a University website are required to assign a staff member or student to maintain and do routine updates of their site’s content. This person(s) is required to attend training for the University's CMS Jadu.

When a new site is needed, it may be necessary to work with the web services team to create the new website. While the web services team can help set up the new site, they are not responsible for drafting content for the website. This must be provided by the person requesting the new website.

Approximately 5 weeks is required to build most sites from the time a website’s navigational layout (wireframe) and the site’s content have been completed by the office/program that is requesting to have a website built.

To initiate a website project, please use our web initiation form or contact Web services manager, Jen Romanchak, at jromanchak@messiah.edu
