Plans, implements and manages the activities of the Facility Maintenance Service Department. Trains, instructs and assigns work so as to effectively direct the activities of the Facility Maintenance employees; Assures systems and buildings function in a safe manner and provide comfort for students, employees and visitors.

Buildings - Responsible for the overall operation of the Campus and Building Services & Laundry Departments, including the planning, organizing, development, direction and coordination of all Campus and Building Services and Laundry employees as well as all event, custodial, pest control and furniture moving needs. Accountable for meeting federal, state and local standards and guidelines for event and custodial management. Responsible for maintaining excellent customer service and a high degree of coordination across several departments.
Grounds - Responsible for managing seven full time and eight seasonal employees. The manager oversees the operation of routine grounds maintenance procedures, landscape projects, sports turf management, trash and recycling, road and sidewalk repair, snow removal and yard waste recycling program. The grounds staff consist of four campus crew leaders, one sports turf crew leader, one sports turf groundskeeper, and one grounds mechanic.
Also responsible for long term facility planning. Provide leadership to construction projects on campus.

Manages capital improvement projects by directing and managing projects with regard for time constraints, cost effectiveness, code compliance and safety precautions. Responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service. Interface with design professionals, contractors, administration, staff, students and authorities having jurisdiction. Responsible to coordinate in-house facility projects among various trades.
