Mobility Print
Students can print to campus printers from their personal devices.
- Go to http://mobilityprint.messiah.edu
- Download the Mobility Print app
- Choose all printers listed and follow the instructions on the screen
Please Note: "Print Anywhere" Copiers are COLOR-print capable, but students will need to go into printer options and select COLOR Print if they really want to print in color. Be sure to check the student pricing schedule for best options.
Common Issues
-
User is not connected to Messiah Secure – See instructions for connecting and forgetting the Messiah Secure network to resolve reconnection issues.
https://blogs.messiah.edu/ETS/kb/wireless-connecting-to-messiah-secure/ -
Chromebooks – Users need to be signed into their Chromebook using their Messiah Google account. If they are signed in using a personal Google account (even if connected to Messiah Secure), they will not be able to use Mobility Print
-
Mac OS X “Hold for Authentication” – When printing for the first time, users are prompted for their username and password to print. However, the username field often populates with their computer’s username and then the wrong credentials are used. To verify this is the issue and correct it, take the following steps:
a. Click Apple menu on the top left and click System Preferences
b. Click Printers & Scanners
c. Double-click on the printer (typically Toshiba-Anywhere)
d. Click on the Retry circle icon to the far right of the job awaiting authentication.
e. When prompted, enter your Messiah username and password in the credentials fields.
f. Click the check box next to “Remember this password in my keychain”.
g. Click OK
