media arts major at Messiah College, you’ll have the chance to develop
your professional skills in our growing, leading-edge facilities!
Exciting renovations are underway, and we are working towards
completion by January 2015. Currently, our facilities and equipment inventory includes:
- Digital film editing lab with sixteen top tier 27" iMac systems featuring dual-displays and running the latest versions of professional audio/video and graphics software (i.e., Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, Dragon Frame)
- Multiple HD Cinema and DSLR Cameras, as well as 16mm Motion Picture Cameras from Arri and Bolex
- Broadcast quality microphones and digital audio recorder
- State-of-the-art projection equipment including two Kinoton 16/35 millimeter projectors, and review-room quality Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound system, with 134-seat capacity
- Soundproof booth for voice-over and sound-effect recording
- Green screen studio with professional lighting and grip equipment
