The B.S. degree in early childhood, middle level and any of the secondary and K-12 areas qualify you for entry-level positions in public and private nursery, elementary, middle and secondary schools. Our graduates have been very successful in obtaining teaching positions or ministry/missions positions all over the world.  

You will learn how to prepare and interview for teaching positions. We notify soon-to-be-graduates about upcoming job fairs and teacher recruitment events. We also teach the skills you will need to apply for a teaching position. Many of our students go on to pursue graduate degrees in disciplines such as school psychology, counseling, school administration, special education, educational psychology and others. Messiah currently offers a graduate program in School Counseling that includes certification as a school counselor in elementary and/or secondary schools.
