Dear Class of 2023 and Families,
Greetings!
On behalf of the Intercultural Office, we would like to invite you to join us for Multicultural Student Orientation which will be held from Thursday, August 29 to Friday August 30, 2019.
We encourage you to come to this special Orientation designed just for you and your family for the opportunity to meet President Kim Phipps, Student Affairs educators and staff, your upper-class mentors, peers and, of course, to beat the rush of Friday’s general Welcome/Move-in Day of 600+ students.
You will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with new incoming international students on campus through planned activities and events. In addition, informational sessions will be available for you and your parents where you can learn more about residence life, student services, registration and financial aid. Lunch and dinner will be provided on campus.
The following day is Move-In Day. Please plan to attend all regularly scheduled events and end the day with the candle light Worship Service, a Messiah tradition and powerful ceremony that provides you with a meaningful way to say goodbye to your family.
