Gender Concerns Committee

The Gender Concerns Committee educates, encourages, and empowers students and employees to become agents for change and transformation concerning gender issues on campus and beyond. Three students—one male and two females—are appointed by SGA.

Inclusive Excellence Ambassadors

The Inclusive Excellence Ambassadors (IEA) program is a professional development community open to students, staff, faculty, and administrators in which participants will be equipped to assist the university in advancing its mission of creating a campus environment marked by a sense of connectedness and belonging. Inclusive Excellence Council

Under the leadership of the VP for Diversity Affairs, the Inclusive Excellence Council serves a collaborative and advisory function in order to better align the implementation of diversity and inclusive excellence goals related to compositional diversity, program development, and campus climate. Members of the committee represent the following areas of the university: Gender Concerns, Multicultural Programs, International Programs, Human Resources & Compliance, Faculty Development, Academic Accessibility, and Enrollment (Undergraduate and Graduate).

Young Professionals of Color

The Young Professionals of Color is an employee resource group for faculty and staff who are under 40 years of age and/or new in their careers in higher education. As a group, the Young Professionals of Color seeks to create an environment in which persons are empowered to develop their skills and grow to achieve their full potential, by engaging with one another and the university community.
