The purpose of this policy is to communicate the authority, roles, policies, and methods of the Department of Procurement. Further, it communicates information and offers guidance to personnel assigned to the purchasing function. It is the responsibility of all who have been delegated the authority to commit University funds through the purchasing function to adhere to this policy.
