I'm at Messiah because...
I see a tremendous value in using my skills and abilities for God through my work. I love people and I love Messiah University. In my estimation, serving as Heritage Society Coordinator at Messiah University offers me the perfect opportunity to match my skills with the mission of helping to keep a Messiah University education within financial reach for students, and to make a Messiah University education possible for those who may not otherwise been able to afford it. I have been blessed by the rich heritage of Messiah University and look forward to being a part of continuing that legacy for generations to come.
Development matters because...
Simply put, Development is the link between the past and the future. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to benefit from an education at Messiah University are the best advocates for continuing that opportunity for others. I believe that being a part of the Development staff will give me the opportunity to come along side of alumni, parents, and friends to further engage them in the Messiah community. There are many levels and avenues to partner in the mission of Messiah University financially, and every gift provides students with the opportunity to be a part of the continuing heritage at Messiah.
These things are important to me:
My wife Dawn and our two daughters, Kelly and Erin are some of God’s greatest gifts to me. Dawn and I started dating during our years together at Messiah, and got married in Hostetter Chapel two weeks after my graduation. We enjoy spending time together as a family and enjoy spending time with friends. I am a musician, and really love music. I play bass guitar and sing in our church band. In college, I was blessed to be a part of the music ministry that developed into Powerhouse. Other things I enjoy are reading, golfing, biking, hiking, and vacationing as a family.
