AAUW
AAUW is a leader in advancing educational, professional and economic oppurtunities for women nationally and globally, providing more than $4.3 million annually in fellowships and grants. Included are American Fellowships, Career Development Grants, Selected Professional Fellowships, Community Action Grants and International Fellowships.
American Fellowships: support women doctoral candidates completing dissertations or scholars seeking funds for postdoctoral research leave from accredited institutions.
Career Development Grants: support women who hold a bachelor's degree and are preparing to advance their careers, change careers, or reenter the workforce. Primary consideration is given to women of color and women pursuing their first advanced degree or credentials in nontraditional fields.
Selected Professions Fellowships: Awarded to women to pursue a full time course of study in a master's or professional degree program in which women's participation traditionally has been low.
Community Action Grants: provides seed money to women, AAUW branches, AAUW state organizations and nonprofit organizations for innovative programs or nondegree research projects that promote education and equity for women and girls.
International Fellowships: Awarded for full time study or research to women who are not U.S. citizen or permanent residents. Both graduate and postgraduate studies at accredited institutions are supported. For more information please visit http://www.aauw.org
