Sustainable Move-Out
Beginning May 6 through May 9th, Messiah's Sustainability Office will be providing areas around campus to donate unwanted items at move out. Please bring donatable items to the central lobbies of dorms and apartment buildings where they may be placed into a "food", "clothing", or "other" box. Books, school supplies, small lamps, blankets, and other appliances would belong in the "other" category. Any item donated should be in fair condition. DO NOT DONATE OPEN FOOD OR STAINED CLOTHING. For large donatable items such as floor lamps, couches, desk chairs, etc, please use the two box trucks that will be set up at North complex and South Complex (located either in front of Naugle or in J lot). The trucks will be open from 9am - 6pm from May 6 through May 9. In addition to the dumpsters, larger roll-off dumpsters will be placed behind Miller, Kelly, Bittner, and Witmer for items that do not meet donation criteria.
Items will be donated to Community Aid, Salvation Army, New Digs or New Hope Ministries.
