Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and Performing Arts
The Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and Performing Arts is the newest building on campus and provides 92,000 square feet of dedicated space for theatre, dance and musical arts programming. It also includes an expanded performing arts venue with seating for 825, along with choir loft seating 140-160, to be used for concerts, public lectures and chapels.
High Center Classroom
The Hahn Instrumental Rehearsal Room in the Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and the Performing Arts (affectionately known to the students and faculty at Messiah as “High 46”) is a versatile rehearsal space which is home to our instrumental ensemble like Orchestra, Wind Bands, Jazz Ensembles and more. Situated beautifully overlooking the Yellow Breeches, it is an inspirational place to make music!
Parmer Hall
Parmer Hall, located in the Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and Performing Arts, is an expanded performing arts venue with seating for 825, along with choir loft seating for 140-160. It is used for concerts, public lectures and special events.
Recital Hall
High Foundation Recital Hall is located on the second floor of the High Center. The Department of Music hosts small concerts and events in this space, as well as student recitals.
