Graduate-student housing

On-campus housing at the Grantham campus

Graduate Students enrolled in the following programs are eligible for on-campus housing through the completion of their master’s degree on a tiered first-come-first-serve basis in this order:

  • Higher Education Leadership Graduate Assistants at Messiah*
  • Master of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics*
  • Master of Science in Athletic Training*
  • Master of Occupational Therapy*
  • Doctoral of Physical Therapy*

One- and Two-bedroom units are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Occupants must be actively enrolled students; family-style housing is not offered.

*A student enrolled in an accelerated program may move off-campus upon matriculation to graduate-level standing.

Summer intensive housing at the Grantham campus
On-campus housing in Messiah University residence apartments are available for graduate students during summer intensive courses. Apartments are air conditioned and each building has laundry facilities located within the complex. The buildings are secured with a card-swipe lock and each apartment has an individual key lock. Each spring, pricing rates are established for the following year. If you are interested in staying on campus during your summer intensive, you must complete the graduate summer housing application. For students who prefer to stay off campus, there are numerous hotel/lodging options nearby, many which offer discounts to Messiah University students and their families. Please view our local lodging guide.

On-campus dining and meal plan

The Café @ Winding Hill is open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with varying schedules during academic breaks and summer months. The café offers freshly prepared breakfast and lunch entrees, soups, salads, sandwiches and a wide variety of convenience foods and beverages. Students may pay cash or credit or use Falcon Dollars (purchasing credit you can add directly to your Messiah student account/ID). Lounge areas are equipped with microwave ovens to heat meals brought from home.

Graduate students may purchase a pre-paid meal plan that provides a 10 percent discount for dining services purchased at the Café @ Winding Hill or any of our main-campus restaurants, including: Lottie Nelson Dining Hall, Union Café, The Falcon, Café Diem or Falcon Hut.
