Pennsylvania intern certification program
Students at Messiah University may apply for the Pennsylvania intern certification program. This professional certificate entitles you to fill a full-time or long-term substitute teaching position in your content area while pursuing teaching certification.
To be eligible for the intern program, students must:
- Enroll in a Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) approved intern program.
- Secure a full-time or long-term substitute position in your content area(s).
- Meet all testing requirements.
