Whether working with members of the military, performing artists or athletes in the high school, collegiate or professional setting, athletic trainers utilize their unique platform as highly accessible and proactive healthcare providers to help their patients and clients stay on the job and on the field. The MSAT program at Messiah University is a gateway into the AT profession. This program will serve as your launching pad into a healthcare profession focused on relationship development and patient-centered care.
At Messiah, our mission is to educate competent, collaborative entry-level athletic trainers prepared to pursue their vocation with professionalism, character and integrity. We recognize the responsibility to prepare you not only as a clinician, but as a young professional ready to serve the AT profession and demonstrate the love of Christ to all of those in your circle of influence. Our teaching philosophy integrates the tenets of our faith with the belief that as ATs we are caring for the whole person, not simply an illness or injury.
The MSAT curriculum will challenge you in the classroom and provide hands-on, real-world learning experiences across a variety of AT settings. You will have access to dedicated classroom and lab space, experienced and caring faculty, and clinical sites selected for their experiential learning opportunities and environment that is both challenging and supportive.
Upon graduation, our students will be prepared to enter the AT workforce and distinguish themselves as caring, innovative healthcare providers ready to make an impact. We are excited about your interest and look forward to speaking with you about enrolling in the Messiah MSAT program.
