Our academic programs

All of our programs are designed around rigorous coursework and hands-on experience, like off-campus internships, practicums and study abroad. You not only have the opportunity to take exciting and diverse classes, develop digital projects, participate in service learning, and complete individualized research and writing projects, but also the flexibility to pursue their passions as double majors, minors or in extracurricular programs. As a student in the Department of Language, Literature and Writing – whether focusing on Chinese, English, French, Spanish, creative writing, professional writing or teaching - you will be a leader on our campus and in the world.
