Messiah University announces collaborations with two new schools
Messiah University recently announced the regional expansion of its Pathway Partners Program with new collaborations with Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (CVCA) and New Covenant Christian School (NCCS).
Launched by Messiah in October 2022, the Pathway Partners Program is a K-12 educational partnership designed to create mutually beneficial lifelong learning opportunities between Messiah and the students, families and employees of its partner schools. While Messiah develops each partnership to address the unique needs of the partner school, agreements typically include a tuition discount, dual enrollment opportunities, continuing education and graduate programming for partner employees, traditional undergraduate enrollment scholarships, special campus events and facility access, and summer camp programming for partner students.
“We are thankful to continue these connections with two new educational institutions,” said Rob Pepper, executive director and assistant to the president for innovation and university partnerships.
With this new partnership, CVCA, regarded as one of the top Christian schools in the U.S., becomes the farthest partner from Messiah and the first located outside of Pennsylvania. “CVCA is no stranger to Messiah University, as CVCA alumni have selected Messiah to continue in their studies for more than 25 years,” Pepper added.
NCCS, located in Lebanon County, is about 50 minutes from Messiah’s campus. Because of its close proximity, Messiah’s had a long-standing connections to NCCS families, alum, faculty and staff.

"With a shared vision for Christ-honoring excellence, a similar passion to fully equip our students and faculty, and a like-mindedness to go deeper and wider for the sake of the Gospel, we look forward to linking arms together with Messiah University for years to come,” added Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy President Jason Spodnik.
About New Covenant Christian School
New Covenant Christian School is a private, Christ-centered, Association-run K4 to 12th grade school of approximately 300 students. Established in 1981 to serve Kindergarten through 8th grade students, the school graduated its first senior class in 2002. The addition of a Supplemental Support Services Department in 2012-2013 opened the door for students qualifying for special education services under IDEA law to receive appropriate instruction in our nurturing Christian environment. Dedicated to building leaders for our world and transforming our community through deeper relationships, for forty years New Covenant has been developing people of intelligence and integrity through high academic standards combined with the application of the Word of God in daily living.
“We are thrilled to partner with Messiah University to offer our students, staff and NCCS community a growing list of benefits through this strategic partnership,” said George Peach, NCCS Superintendent. “Messiah aligns with our mission to glorify God by providing a quality education in a Christ-centered environment to prepare each learner for a life of following Jesus and serving in and through the kingdom of God. We are thankful for higher education universities, like Messiah, who can continue to cultivate and educate our students after they complete their time at New Covenant.”
