Messiah University is a nationally ranked, private Christian university committed to educating students toward intellect, character and Christian faith. As one of University of Valley Forge's selected transitional partner schools, we are dedicated to providing UVF students with a smooth transfer pathway. As you seek God's direction for what comes next, we invite you to discover the opportunities, support, and community that await you at Messiah.
All students who are in good academic standing at UVF are eligible to transfer to Messiah University.
For in-person undergraduate students currently enrolled at University of Valley Forge who want to transfer to Messiah, we will:
Undergraduate Students
- Provide a credit evaluation for any completed college credits on your transcripts
- Teach-out your University of Valley Forge program of study OR check out one of Messiah’s 80+ majors
- Transfer students: Match your UVF net tuition costs
- Incoming first-year (new) students: Award students merit and need based aid as part of their financial package
Next Steps
- Apply: Submit a Messiah University Application
- Request your Transcripts and Records: Complete the UVF Release of Records Form to allow the University of Valley Forge to send Messiah University the information needed for your transition. Select both the academic records and financial aid information release options, and list Messiah University as the recipient.
- If you are a first-time-in-college student who planned to begin classes at UVF this fall and have not completed any coursework at UVF, you will also need to submit your high school transcript to Messiah University.
- If you have completed college-level coursework outside of UVF, please also request that an official transcript from that institution be sent directly to Messiah University.
- Complete the FAFSA: Add Messiah University to your 2026-2027 FAFSA

For graduate students currently enrolled at University of Valley Forge who want to transfer to Messiah, we will:
- Teach out your UVF transfer credits into an equivalent program
- Provide a 20% tuition discount on all UVF graduate students who enroll in any fall 2026 term.
