Partner wellness centers

The Wellness Centers are nurse-managed practices operated in partnership with the Messiah University Department of Nursing and local community agencies to supplement existing primary care services in the community.  Emphasis is placed on health promotion, disease and injury prevention, risk reduction education, and chronic illness monitoring.  Messiah University nursing students assist residents with comfort measures for pain management techniques, blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, medication management, health and safety screenings, proper diet choices and heart smart nutrition, and healthy goal setting.
