Courses and curriculum
The business program at Messiah University offers you the opportunity to take a broad range of courses while also specializing in a specific discipline. In terms of breadth, you may choose classes such as investments, operations management, moral Issues in business, small business development and advertising. At the same time, you'll gain depth of experience in a specific field by majoring in disciplines that include accounting, business administration, business information systems, economics, economic development, international business and marketing. Internships also can play a valuable role by providing real-world experience and honing job-related competencies. At the end of the college journey, management and business students experience strategic management (the capstone business course), which utilizes in-depth case analysis to integrate all of the business disciplines and develop high-level decision-making skills.
