Double major in Mathematics and Physics

Students can complete a double major in Mathematics and Physics (BA) by completing all courses required for both majors with this exception to the standard College course overlap policy. Students completing this combination must take STAT 291, MATH 261 and MATH 308 (in lieu of MATH 270) and can choose either MATH 494 or PHYS 494.

By extension, students can receive dual certification from Messiah College in the two areas by completing all courses in the intersection of the MATT and PHYT majors, choosing one each of the 307, 407, and 494 courses.
