Meet our faculty
Our faculty are active scholars and teachers who hail from a wide range of educational backgrounds and cover many facets of the disciplines today. Historical expertise includes cultural and social history, public history, digital humanities, field archaeology and anthropology; political science expertise includes American, comparative and international politics with a wide array of specializations. All full-time faculty hold PhDs in their fields and have published extensively in their field of study. Our faculty and instructors are committed to working closely with Messiah University history and politics and international relations majors, mentoring and advising them regarding their coursework, independent research projects and career planning.
