What is an REU?
An REU is a Research Experience for Undergraduates. They normally take place over the summer at a college or university. Many are paid positions and offer free or discounted room and board options.
When should I apply?
The application window is generally from January to March. Many programs are competitive and require letters of recommendation, so start the process early!
