Pre-OT (4 yr)

- Generally, course work includes general biology with lab, human anatomy and physiology with lab, psychology, sociology, English and statistics.
Application Timeline:
Occupational therapy school directly after Messiah University:
- Required courses completed by end of senior year (although preference may be given to applicants that complete the required courses sooner)
- Apply during the summer between junior and senior year.
Standardized Test:
- Graduate Record Exam(GRE), revised General Test
- Administered year-round at computer-based test centers. Three sections: Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. Unofficial score available on test day. Official score in 10 – 15 days.
Application Service:
- Occupational Therapy Centralized Application Service (OTCAS)
- Apply to non-participating schools directly through the schools.
- Regardless of application protocol, APPLY EARLY (application opens early summer)!
