Meet our faculty

The Department of Language, Literature and Writing is a community of teacher-scholars who value the opportunity to teach and learn from our students at Messiah. Our faculty is dedicated to excellence in all areas of teaching, scholarship and institutional service and devoted to creating a collaborative learning environment for students. They have received multiple teaching awards, regularly publish critical and creative work in their fields, and provide leadership to the campus community through the Writing Center, Center for Public Humanities, Honors Program, student clubs, chapel, and work on racial and multicultural justice. Together, we seek to model the interdependent relationship of faith and intellect dedicated to service in our community and on our campus.
