13.3 Digital Competence Across the Curriculum
Students gain digital competence through General Education course requirements. Digital competence comprises digital proficiency and digital citizenship. Digital proficiency is the ability to use technology to produce and disseminate digital content. Digital citizenship entails the development of the skills and knowledge needed to effectively use digital technologies to participate ethically in social and civic life.
