Welcome to Web Services
At Messiah University, Web Services is dedicated to empowering and supporting web users to ensure that the university’s website remains a valuable, effective, and user-friendly resource. Our role is to provide ongoing assistance, training, and guidance to ensure that all website contributors can thrive in managing and updating their respective web pages.
How Web Services Supports Web Users
Web Services is here to offer direct, hands-on support for all web users, whether you're a first-time content editor or a seasoned user. We help troubleshoot technical issues, provide advice on website management, and ensure that you feel confident in maintaining your pages.
Before gaining access to the website’s Content Management System (CMS), all web users must complete training with Web Services. This training equips users with the skills needed to navigate the CMS, maintain content accessibility, and follow best practices for content management. Through this process, we ensure that every web contributor is fully prepared to manage their section of the website effectively.
Web Services doesn’t just provide one-time training—we offer ongoing guidance to ensure users continue to feel supported. Whether you need a refresher on CMS functions, tips on improving your content’s accessibility, or advice on optimizing your page for search engines (SEO), Web Services is always available to help.
Ensuring that Messiah University’s website is accessible to all users is a top priority. Web Services actively supports users in meeting accessibility standards, including providing resources for creating accessible content, offering guidance on alt text for images, and ensuring that all pages comply with web accessibility laws.
We work alongside web users to continuously improve the website. Whether you're looking to enhance your content layout or need technical improvements, Web Services collaborates with you to find solutions that best serve your audience.
Whenever you need assistance—whether for technical support, content advice, or to request additional training—simply reach out through the web help form. We are here to ensure that every web user has the resources and support they need to succeed.
